Subject: RULE CHANGES

Please be advised that the following changes to the IFBB Pro Rules were adopted at the annual meeting of the IFBB Pro League, held at The Orleans Hotel & Casino, Las Vegas, Nevada, USA, September 24, 2009.

In Bodybuilding, at the end of the Prejudging, one score will be awarded and this score will not be doubled. For example, assuming a panel of 9 judges, after discards, if the remaining scores are all first-place votes, that athlete will be awarded a Prejudging score of "5". If, for example, the remaining scores are all second-placed votes, that athlete will be awarded a Prejudging score of "10". These scores will not be doubled.

In Bodybuilding, the posing routine will no longer be scored. This will value the Prejudging and Finals Posedown at 50% each.

In Fitness, the 45-second mandatory routine and the one-piece swimsuit rounds are eliminated. There are now two rounds, the two-piece bikini and two-minute fitness routine. Each round is valued at 50%.

In Figure, a promoter may, with the approval of the IFBB Pro League, hold a "Masters Figure" competition for women 35 years of age or older. This will not qualify competitors for the Figure Olympia. If the promoter hosts both Open and Masters Figure competitions at the same event, a competitor may compete in one Figure competition only (may not compete in both Open and Masters at the same event).
