Sometimes you know you're looking at something special. That was the case when Brandon Curry stepped on stage at the 2007 NPC USA Bodybuilding, Fitness and Figure Championships in Las Vegas last July. Curry didn't win his pro card – heck, he didn't even win the heavyweight class - but it was obvious to anybody in attendance that Curry oozes with potential, and is a star in the making. Curry finished second in the heavyweight class that night, then followed that up with a third-place finish at the NPC Nationals in November. The fact that Curry did not earn his pro card did nothing to dampen the enthusiasm that surrounds him, as the 26-year-old inked a contract with Weider Publications shortly after the contest.

This month, the 5-foot-7, 240-pound Curry graces the cover of the March issue of FLEX magazine, on newsstands now. To find out more about Curry and his training, pick up the issue. And check out this behind-the-scenes video from the photo shoot, which took place two days after the 2007 Nationals.
