DURING YOUR SET, THE BEST REPS OCCUR TOWARD THE END WHEN YOUR MUSCLES ARE EXHAUSTED. THE PACE IS SLOW, THE MOVEMENT DELIBERATE AND YOU ARE USING ALL THE MUSCLE’S FIBERS. TRY HITTING THE NEXT SET WHEN YOU CAN STILL HEAR YOUR HEAT BEATING IN YOUR EARS AND WHEN YOU ARE STILL BREATHING SOMEWHAT HARD. NO, YOUR MUSCLES HAVE NOT RECUPERATED AND YES THE NEXT SET WILL BE DIFFICULT, BUT THAT’S THE POINT. YOU’RE AT THE GYM TO GET AND MAINTAIN A PUMP.
