Jeff Long: Background Info
This is a shot of Jeff at the 2009 NPC Nationals last November.
This is how he looks today:
Jeff Long, 2009 Hvy Wt NPC National Champion will be making his IFBB Pro Debut here and what a difference a year makes for this guy! Jeff battled tooth and nail to hold off a fast charging Lee Banks at the Nationals only 6 months ago but manage to do so with detail and conditioning that left nothing to be desired. Jeff, competing on the light end of the heavy weight class won big based on being the dardest and driest guy in his class regardless of his slight body weight. Should he follow the same course of action which landed him in the Winners Circle in Hollywood, Florida last year he could upset a few of the bigger guys. This 25 year old, stands a mere 5’6 and weighs in at 215lbs is not the biggest of the bunch but “Pound for Pound” he will serve notice fast and swift if he brings a few more pounds of muscle with better conditioning than when he won his Pro Card. Strengths are his Legs, Calves and tight midsection. Jeff’s weakness is he needs more Pec thickness and thinner skin on his hams and glutes. Hopefully he will have thickened up his lower back to showcase his excellent condition.
