Canadian Muscle: Fouad Abiad & Ben Pakulski join TEAM MD!!
I am pleased to announce two new members to join Team MD – Ben Pakulski & Fouad Abiad.
These two excellent young rookies both turned pro by winning the Super-Heavyweight and Overall titles at the CBBF Canadian Championships. Both of these men come from Ontario, and have distinguished themselves with honor at the recent Tampa Bay Pro, with Fouad taking a highly controversial second place to Dennis James, and Ben right behind him in third.
Fouad and Ben are young and have great potential and promising futures ahead of them. Both of them will play a very active part both in the magazine and on-line.
Be sure to read all about Fouad and Ben in our December Issue which is set to hit newsstands November 3rd!!

the Road to the NY Pro: Ben Pakulski Trains Back 3 Weeks Out from the NY PRO
Ben Pakulski is 3 weeks out from the New York Pro. He talks about how he brought up his back this year with FST-7's and also new training techniques such as eccentric training. The Pakman is dedicated to winning this year's New York Pro.
Heres a shot of Ben at the 2009 Tampa Bay Pro where he took 3rd place.
This is what he looked like in today's prejudging round:
Ben says this on his web page:
"My idol and mentor, the late Tom Hall(IFBB Pro, never defeated) was the most influential to my bodybuilding career. Tommy taught me wrong from right inside the gym and out. Tom took the time to teach me the correct biomechanical way to do every exercise, showed me how to eat like a bodybuilder and why. He also got me my first Muscletech contract at the age of 18(they liked the calves too!). Tom passed away 3 weeks after my first ever show on Oct 1, 2005. He never got to see me compete, he had some family things to attend to that weekend. My second show, 3 weeks after he passed, was to be the first time he saw me compete. It was the hardest thing I’ve ever done, but I did that show, and every show for the rest of my career in that great mans honor."
Ben holds an Honors Kinesiology Degree, with a minor in Economics from UNIVERSITY OF WESTERN ONTARIO.
