Würde Kevin 1 Jahr wieder voll durchziehen, wäre der ruck zuck wieder vorne dabei. Hundertpro. Trotz dessen, daß er jetzt so aussieht.
Definitiv.
EVIN LEVRONE now in the BB Hall of Fame It's about time for Levrone.
Featuring 2009 Joe Weider's bodybuilding Hall of Fame inductee Kevin Levrone.
ORIGIN OF A MUSCLE MACHINE
Levrone, youngest of six siblings and son of an Italian father and an African-American mother, was born July 16, 1965, in Baltimore, Maryland. He first became aware of weightlifting during Frank Zane's stranglehold on the Sandow trophy. Levrone's own overall record as an IFBB pro has not been matched by anyone who has competed 30 or more times. Out of 64 pro contests, he placed in the top five 61 times.
Although his involvement was at first limited to toying with a brother's barbell, Levrone's serious interest in the iron sport followed his mother's 1989 death from cancer. His father had died a decade earlier. Levrone's initial contest was Mr. Colossus in Maryland. Winning that, he sold his construction company and devoted all his efforts to bodybuilding. After Levrone won the 1991 NPC Nationals in Pittsburgh, he blew into Chicago for his pro debut and moored third place at the Chicago pro.
WILL THE REAL LEVRONE PLEASE STAND UP?
Levrone conceals his real identity, as he told FLEX in 1993: "A lot of people think they know me. But they only know the Levrone who talks. The real Levrone, the one who thinks, they don't know." Both Levrones were injured the previous year, when a set of 60-pound dumbbell flyes tore his right pec.

OTHER IRONS IN THE FIRE
From the start of his bodybuilding career, Levrone had other goals: first to be a musician, then to be an actor. He has realized both of these goals, but not with the level of success that he has enjoyed in muscle competitions.
JOIN THE IFBB AND SEE THE WORLD
Levrone told FLEX in May 1999 that what he enjoyed most about bodybuilding was that "I get to travel and meet good people."
REMARKABLE RUNNERS-UP
Although a couple of men had debuted in the Olymipa contests of the 1960s with runner-up placings, no one did so in the '70s or '80s. Then Levrone became middleman of a legendary trio who debuted in the two-spot in the '90s. They are:
* 1991 Dorian Yats
* 1992 Kevin Levrone
* 1993 Flex Wheeler
BODYBUILDING INTERNATIONAL
Since the 1965 Mr. Olympia, the IFBB has held pro contests in 102 cities around the World. Levrone spread his 20 wins among 17 of those cities--in nine foreign countries and four American states-for a total of 14 Grand Prix wins, two Arnold Classic victories, one Night Of Champions win and two wins in San Jose, California.
