IFBB Promoter Lee Thompson celebrated the grand opening of his third gym in the Houston-area today. IFBB Fitness Pro Adela Garcia, IFBB Pro Gustavo Badell, IFBB Pro John Sherman, IFBB Pro Lee Labrada and Fitness Model Jamie Eason joined the festivities at One 2 One Training Center in Sugarland, Texas.
Gustavo Badell stopped by Houston to make a guest appearance at Lee Thompson's new gym on his way to Puerto Rico for the next 10-days to "get a tan" as part of his contest preparations for the 2008 IFBB Iron Man Pro in Los Angeles next month. Gustavo just signed with Weider Publications last week.
Gustavo trained with Lee at the new One 2 One Training Center facilities and gave his approval. The One 2 One Fitness Training Centers in the Houston-area have a reputation as hardcore gyms for serious athletes, bodybuilders and fitness professionals.
CEO, founder of Labrada Nutrition, and bodybuilding legend Lee Labrada was on hand with his son Hunter greeting fans and answering consumer questions about the Labrada Nutrition line of supplements.
Reigning Olympia Fitness Champion and IFBB Fitness Pro Adela Garcia spent most of the afternoon offering "hands-on" instruction and advice to local fitness competitors. Her love of teaching others and training girls for contests is obvious. Adela has several popular fitness camps scheduled this year, the first one beginning next week, January 25-27, 2008 in Austin, Texas.
Jamie Eason, Bodybuilding.com spokesperson and Houston resident, is currently one of the industry's most popular and successful fitness models and a former cheerleader for the NFL's Houston Texans. In spite of her amazing success, she remains the same down-to-earth person that we first met in 2006 prior to being "discovered" at Hardbody Entertainment's 2006 World’s Fittest Model search at the 2006 Olympia Expo.
Lee Thompson is the President and Chairman of NPC Texas and IFBB Judge. He is promoting the inaugural 2008 IFBB Houston Pro Bodybuilding and Fitness Championship in Houston, Texas on July 4-5, 2008.
The IFBB Houston Pro show will be held in conjunction with the NPC John Sherman Classic Bodybuilding, Fitness & Figure Championships (national qualifier) which is promoted by John "Tank" Sherman and Khalid Tibari.
