Klingt alles sehr fabelhaft!! Mal am Rande, in Thailand werden Farangs ( Ausländer) nicht wie immer in drittklassigen Print oder TV Sendung erzählt, mit Thais zusammen in eine Zelle gesperrt sondern getrennt. Und DJ zählt trotz der Jahre die er in Thailand lebt für Thais zu den Farangs.
Zudem wüßte ich nicht, woher A. wissen kann, wieviel KG er abgenommen hat und ob er jemanden seine Schuhe geschenckt hat usw.

Im Endeffekt ist mir das egal, soll jeder glauben was er für richtig hält. Aber seine Phantasie sollte man schon im Zaum halten können.
Ich lasse mich aber gern vom Gegenteil überzeugen, aber mit detailierten Quellenhinweisen oder Pics.

Big,big thank you for all the positive and kind words coming from most of you guys on here. I can not explain in words how much this helps me. There are a few things I would never do.
I'm not asking you to believe me or not, but I am not and never was a drug dealer.
I would like to thank you all from the bottom of my heart for all your support.You guys gave me a tremenous amount of power just by reading what you posted and I will never,ever forget that. I've learned alot in the 5 days I was in jail. I for sure now know who my true friends are. That is why I want to thank Dlock for everything he's done for me, he was there for me every minute with my wife doing everything they could do and more. Also my family stood 100% behind me.
My wife I really don't know what to say but she's just the best thing a man can have. She and Dlock couldn't eat cause I couldn't eat or drink at all. No sleep at all for 5 days straight.
Yes they suffered with me, but we also fought together and that is why I'm out and posting today.
Chad,Kim, Tom, Victor and Jason thanks to you guys I will never forget that you guys kept me in your mind.
I still have alot of work to do and please understand that I can not go into details, but eveything will be just fine.
I was back in the gym training legs today and I can't wait for my next workout because this is what I do for money. I train my ass off trying to be the best I can be, and I won't let anything get in between this.

Natuerlich kann cih das nicht mit sicherheit sagen, keiner von uns war dabei als er entlassen wurde und als er im Gefaengnis saß, aber Dennis ist ein sehr guter Kerl. Man darf nicht vergessen, wenn man 5 Tage im Gefaengnis sitzt und weiss dass die Moeglichkeit einer Hinrichtung besteht, dann kann es schon zu solchen Reaktionen kommen wenn man ploetzlich wieder auf freiem Fuß ist. Ich berichte nur das was ich hoere, deshalb ist es ein News und Geruechte Forum. Wenn sich eine meiner Infos als unwahr herausstellt, werde ich es selbstverstaendlich korrigieren.

Ist ok. Man kann sich ja nie sicher sein, wenn Du deine Quellen hast ist ja ok. Ich kenne ihn auch flüchtig aus Pattaya, er ist wirklich in Ordnung.

Die ganze Geschichte ist wirklich obskur!

Wenn DJ wirklich 20 Extasy Tabletten erhalten hat, dürfte er eigentlich den Knast nicht verlassen haben, da, wie schon gesagt, auf den Besitz von mehr als 15 Tabletten Lebenslänglich oder die Todesstrafe steht. Überlicherweise kennt die Polizei kein Pardon, es sei denn, man regiert noch im Zuge der Verhaftung mit erheblichen Schmiergeldsummen.

DJ muss sehr gute Anwälte haben, dass Sie ihn nach so kurzer Zeit wieder aus dem Gefängnis geholt haben. Schon allein deshalb, weil ein Gefängnisaufenthalt in Thailand nichts mit dem Knast z. B. in Deutschland zu tun hat. Es gibt ganz üble Berichte von den Zuständen in Thai-Gefängnissen, vor allem vom "Bankok Hilton" in das die meisten Westler eingeliefert werden. Ein wenig klingt das ja auch in dem Email nach DJ's Entlassung an.

Die Umstände können nur auf eine gut vorbereitete Falle für DJ hinweisen. DJ hatte das an ihn addressierte Paket aus Deutschland noch nicht einmal geöffnet als die Polizei zugriff und sogar thailändische Presse war bei diesem Coup anwesenden. Der Hintergrund der Geschichte muss ziemlich ernst sein, ansonsten wäre nicht die amerikanische DEA an dem Fall beteiligt gewesen.

Insgesamt passt die spektakuläre Aktion sehr gut in die derzeitige politische Landschaft in Thailand, da die Regierung gerade ihre neue Kampagne gegen Drogenhandel ausgerufen hat. Dabei wird mit dem eisernen Besen gekehrt und die Frage nach Recht und Gesetz tritt dabei in den Hintergrund. Die letzte Kampagne in 2003 hat in 10 Monaten weit über 2000 Menschenleben (von Schmugglern, Dealern, aber auch sehr vielen Unbeteiligten) gekostet, die alle ohne Prozess erschossen wurden. In diesem Zusammenhang bringt die Verhaftung eines Ausländers als "Schmuggler" natürlich positive Presse.

PS: Ich bin gespannt, ob er wie angekündigt zur FIBO kommen wird.

Übrigens hier als Nachtrag ein Augenzeugenbericht (unredigiert) von der Verhaftung, den ich hier am Board vorher an der falschen Stelle gepostet hatte:

Pattaya Drug Bust!

Was in the gym this morning (what a fucking surprise). Remember the huge mother fucker I wrote about that frequents the gym, the one that took Number 4 in the Mr Universe Contest? I wrote a small blurb about him in my Thai Journal 3. He's a huge personality and has literally worldwide recognition and fame for who he is. HIS NAME IS XXXXXX XXXXX, and he hails from the US, my homeland.

Well, the news is that while I was working out, I watched as a courier of some sort came in and delivered him a small package. Literally seconds after he accepted delivery of this package, he was swarmed by about 10 uniformed Thai police officers, multiple U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) agents, Thai news reporters toting cameras to record the whole episode, and others whose purpose I couldn't tell you. Looked like undercover Thai government officials. Honest to Buddha, at its height, this incident had a few hundred people either involved in the arrest / bust or just watching this spectacle. Wouldn't have been as big as it was were it not for WHO was being busted. And believe me when I tell you from my particular vantage point, I had a ringside seat to everything.

About 10 minutes after they swarmed him, and after questioning him in the office, they took him away in cuffs. He is literally so huge that he might easily have broken them, but he offered no resistance at all. This was obviously a joint venture between the Thais and the Americans. Not certain why the US DEA was involved, but maybe that indicates that the Americans plan on trying to extradite him back to the US for some offense, otherwise the Thais have obvious jurisdiction, it being their country. I would not have known that this was drug related were it not for overhearing one of the agents identify himself as a DEA agent. This happened when DXXXXX was being escorted out of the gym in cuffs, and one of the guys in the gym who had been chatting with DXXXXX just prior to all the excitement boldly shouted out to DXXXXX, who at the time was surrounded by officials and being carted out, "What do you need, DXXXXX? What do you want me to do?" I did not hear DXXXXX' reply....it was something muffled. But the guy extending Mr JXXXXX this kind offer was immediately descended upon by a DEA agent, who identified himself as such upon request by DXXXXX' friend. He was taken away and questioned, as were a couple others in the gym. I was ready for them to question me just because of my IMMEDIATE proximity to all these goings-on.

Inside info: I don't believe he takes drugs (other than steroids) because it would inhibit his muscle building efforts, but as coincidence would have it, I did overhear him saying to a friend recently that he is in need of money! Hey, there are better ways of making it.

DXXXXX JXXXX wife, an attractive young Thai lady who also works out regularly at the gym, came in about 5 minutes after DXXXXX was dragged away into an awaiting vehicle, and was obviously surprised at it all. Another indicator that this was staged well in advance was the fact that I overheard the DEA agent (there were many!) telling one of his cronies that "What was she doing here? She was never supposed to be able to leave the house."

This event will most certainly be all over the Thai news this evening, and may make bigger news just because of who is involved. Heck, half of Pattaya probably knows by now.

Letzter Stand war, dass "nur" noch von 9 XTC die Rede war (nicht 19).
Deshalb war auch Kautionsstellung moeglich.
Dennis trainiert momentan 09.38 Uhr Ortszeit Thailand, gerade mal 10 m von mir entfernt. Ich bin auch gleich selbst an der Hantel.
Soweit Dennis berichtete waren die DEA-Leute nicht direkt aus den USA eingereist, sondern sind eh in Bangkok stationiert.

Nichtsdestotrotz ist dies eine wirklich merkwürdige Geschichte. Anscheinend hatte man sich mit DJ den Falschen ausgesucht. Die Reduktion von 19 X auf 9 X spricht Bände.

Habe heute morgen nach dem Training noch laenger mit ihm sprechen
koennen.
Er hat die Teilnahme an der FIBO noch nicht aufgegeben, und hofft/denkt das man ihm fuer diesen Trip nach Deutschland keine Steine ihn den Weg legen wird (???)

Desweiteren wurde wohl in der Thaipresse (falsch) berichtet, dass Dennis
angeblich ein XTC Dealer sein soll, und diese in Discotheken selbst verkauft habe. Dennis wuerde gerne wissen woher dieses Geruecht kommt, denn er und seine Frau Ratikan schwoeren das er "jeden Abend"
immer zw. 20.00-20.30 Uhr ins Bett geht (wirklich ausnahmslos), da das taegliche Training immer morgens um 09.00 Uhr beginnt, und er deshalb auch schon frueh "aus den Federn" ist.

P.S. ab Samstag bin ich wieder back in "good cold Germany"
